The Condiment Struggle is Real

The condiment struggle was very real today

Marquette, MIApril 2, 2019 – I know many people order in, or like to go somewhere for lunch during their work day. I am not one of those people.

I bring in 3 meals every day to eat during my work day. I bring breakfast, lunch, and 2nd lunch. For lunch today, I brought in a hamburger that I had cooked up a couple days ago for lunches through the week. This morning, when packing it, I realized I was out of ketchup at my apartment.

However this did not deter me. I figured there would be ketchup in the fridge at the station. So around 1pm I went and heated up my burger and went to retrieve the ketchup from the fridge, and low and behold there was no ketchup.

So I did what any sane person would do – find something else in the fridge that would work. Which is how I ended up eating a burger topped with Heinz 57 steak sauce.

All in all, it wasn’t bad. But the lesson, as always is: make sure you always have ketchup
