What a Week!

The Masters is one of many highlights this week

Marquette, MIApril 9, 2019 – The 2nd week of April, 2019 may go down as one of the greatest ever. The amount of story lines, and stories that will be told will be second to none.

Last night, on Monday, we had one of the better Men’s College Basketball national championship games in recent memory. Tony Bennett went from the laughing stock of tournament results to a national championship winning coach a year removed from being the first 1-seed to ever lose to a 16. It took 3 games where his Cavaliers were down with under 20 seconds to play, but the magic continued.

Thursday marks the beginning of one of the greatest sports weekends of the year. The 2019 Masters returns to Augusta and the story lines are endless. Can the favorite, Rory McIlroy, finally get that coveted green jacket and complete the career Grand Slam after one of the most epic final round collapses in 2011? Can Rickie Fowler finally win a major? Is Tiger Woods going to contend after finally getting a win last season?

And then on Sunday night, after a green jacket has been put on, time runs right into the start of the final season of perhaps one of the greatest television show ever created. After a more than year-long hiatus, the 8th and final season of Game of Thrones will premier on HBO. Who will be sitting on the Iron Throne by seasons end?

The 2nd week of April – what a week to be in love with stories.
