Great Lakes Radio Texaco Country Showdowns #4 & #5 Gallery of Photos – Marquette Township Community Day – August 4, 2012

Marquette Township, Michigan – Part of the Marquette Township Community Day, the 4th & 5th Great Lakes Radio Texaco Country Showdowns were a great success with great singers competing in two separate showdowns at same location for a chance to win $1,000 regionally then, perhaps, move up in the competition for a chance to win the National Prize of $100,000.

Great Lakes Radio, Inc. (WFXD, WKQS, WRUP, WPIQ, and WQXO) and Michigan Sales & Equipment, the John Deere store in Marquette, co-sponsored the Texaco Country Showdowns. The 4th and 5th Texaco Country Showdowns were just two parts of the Marquette Township Community Day put on by Marquette Township Community Events Committee and The Marquette Township Business Association (MarquetteTownship.biz) to support Marquette Little League.
