Obamacare Hurts

Marquette, MI - March 31, 2014 – D-Day for Obamacare Subscribers

Yes, today is the last day to sign up for Obamacare and avoid this year’s penalty for NOT having health insurance. If you have ever heard me discuss this issue, you know I am not a fan of the government controled, three-sizes-fit’s-all plan.

Admittedly, a few people will benefit from this mess, but far more will be hurt – in th name of “fairness”. Most people will be paying more premiums for plans that have higher deductibles, higher co-pays, and fewer places to go for care. On the positive side… at least we didn’t spend OUR OWN money on false advertising, a faulty web site and a huge new bureaucracy… we borrowed money we can’t pay back… so I guess the joke’s on China – not us!

To illustrate how horrible this plan is, I want to use the white house’s own dismal numbers. I believe the actual numbers are much worse, but – to be gracious, let’s use their own numbers. When all this began, the democrats claimed there were 30 million uninsured… Now they claim success because only 35 million are uninsured. They claim 6 million have signed up for health care, and the highest number I’ve seen in their favor is that 10% of those did not have insurance before… so at least 90% of those had plans they could have kept.

Dan Adamini – In The Right Mind

So we borrowed money we didn’t have, to start a program 90% of the population didn’t need or want… The result is fewer people actually covered now, and an expensive new bureaucracy to implement the plan that hurts more people than it helps… in other words… a Perfect Democrat Program.
