Sunday's Thunderstorm Knocked Out Power Around Marquette

Marquette, MI – The weather in Northern Michigan will hit extremes on Wednesday, July 20th as the heat index will hit 102 to 105 with temperatures in the low to mid 90s. Just coming off a rather strong electrical storm a few days ago, the Upper Peninsula embraces for more extreme weather.

Tuesday Morning's Fog

On Tuesday, Northern Michigan residents awoke to fog with areas of limited visibility. Tuesday will be a relatively normal day after the fog rises, but Wednesday will drastically change the weather outlook.

The high heat index for Wednesday has caused a warning from the National Weather Service. Be careful in areas susceptible to heat and take precautions to avoid any health issues that may arise due to the extreme weather.
