Turning Dominoes into Art

Altered Art, the Domino Style Workshop for teens and adults was held Thursday afternoon at the Arts and Culture Center at Peter White Public Library in Marquette.

The 1 inch by 2 inch domino was made into a canvas designed with ink, art, photos, words, graphics and digital art.  Artists participating in this workshop were asked to bring their own photos and design elements for their domino.  Art made on the dominoes was covered with resin for protection.

The next workshop for this artistic and creative event is Monday, August 15 from 4:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. at The Marquette Arts and Culture Center.
