Travel Writers will Experience Michigan's Diverse Outdoors

Twenty-five travel writers represent more than 50 national and regional outlets as well as 425 Magazines.  Among those include, Camping Life Magazine, Cybergolf, GreatOutdoors.com, Leisure Group Travel, Michigan Golf Magazine, Midwest Today, AAA World, Midwest Living, USA Today, Today’s Diet & Nutrition and many others.

Travel writers will experience different parts of the Eastern half of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula based on their own area of interests.  This week of immersion will give them a better sense of what they are writing about, because they will have had their own personal experiences with the diverse travel opportunities offered.

Larger groups of writers will be visiting museums, taste testing U.P. foods, picking wild blueberries, hiking, and canoeing.  While smaller groups will experience fishing and golfing in the U.P., depending of their own areas of interest.

Writers will return home after a week of traveling the eastern U.P. and put their experiences into writing to encourage travelers to visit this portion of the Midwest.
