Girl Scouts Troop 5101 Raising Money at The Seafood Fest in Marquette

Marquette, MI– August 26, 2011 – Girl Scout Troop 5101 of Harvey is raising money at the Rotary Seafood Festival in Marquette.  They are asking for a $5 donation to park right next to the entrance of the festival on the corner of Washington Avenue and Lake Shore Drive by the bell town in Marquette. They will be collecting donations and charging for parking until 8pm Friday, August 26th and from 11am to 8pm Saturday, August 27th.


Donations Help Send this Troop to Lambeau Field to Celebrate 100 years of the Girl Scouts!

Proceeds for this fundraiser will help send this troop of eight girls to the 100th Anniversary of The Girl Scouts at Lambeau Field during the spring of 2012.

This troop helps the community by making birthday boxes for Harbor Houses, making meals for Habitat for Humanity workers, cleaning the bike path in Marquette, and building benches and tables in the community.
