Live Music in the Village of Marquette, Michigan

Marquette, MI – August 30, 2011 – The Village of Marquette located on North Third Street will host talented local musicians for “Music in the Village” on Thursday, September 1, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  Young artists will perform from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.  In case of inclement weather, host businesses have agreed to allow musicians to play inside.

Strolling along Marquette’s Village you can hear local muscians perform street-side in-front of the following businesses:

Schwalback Kitchens, Forsberg Flowers, Cruise N Coffee, Border Grill, Stucko’s, Togo’s, Flowerworks, Lutey’s Flower Shop, River Valley Bank, and Casa Calabria.

Young musicians will play in-front of Forseberg Flowers and Fassbender Funeral Home.

Musicians participating in this event include: Green Gene, Ec;ettico, the Flying Martini Brothers, Bob Like and Gess Wachter, Dano and Company, Fst Eddie and Da Bone Man, Light After Midnight, Pink O-Herod, EVerything Under the Sun, and Log Jam.

Young musicians from the Children’s Strong Quartet will perform, as well as, Dawn Dott Dancers.

During this event White’s Party Store will host a wne tasting event from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  Also, Messiah Lutheran Church will host an “End of Summer Family Celebration” from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in their church parking lot.
