A Little Piece of Michigan History

Coming up tomorrow,  Sunday May 20th, the Iron Industry Museum, in Negaunee, is going to host an open house from noon to 4 p.m.

Iron Ore

The olden days

White Water is going to perform at 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. so make sure you make it there in time for that!

The event is starting off a summer long celebration of events and open houses celebrating the museums 25th anniversary. The ribbon cutting ceremony for the anniversary will be on Saturday, June 2nd at the museum as well.

I love these kinds of events; I love hearing about the ol’ days, listening to old-timer’s stories and seeing the differences between what it was like then compared to now.

The event is free to the public, which I also like, and there will be refreshments, which…I also like : )
