A Celebration In Honor of Cancer Survivors

National Caner Survivor’s Day is going to be held in the West Lobby of the Marquette General Hospital on June 3.

Cancer Ribbon

The celebration is going to be from noon to 3 p.m. and it will include presentations from cancer survivors and Dr. Amy Weise, the Marquette General medical oncologist.

This is a very special day for people who have had to go through such a horrible thing. Whether or not you attend make sure you call up someone you know who has fought or who is fighting cancer and tell them how much they mean to you. If you don’t know anyone who is or has fought for their lives just call up your loved ones and tell them you love them.

There are going to be light snacks and refreshments,  tours of the Radiation Oncology department, and a Burning Bush will be planted after the presentations to commemorate the day.

The event is free and you are welcome!

For more information call the Marquette General Cancer Center at 225-3500.
