Pioneer Days Has Started in Negaunee

Here is a whole line-up of events going on in Negaunee for Pioneer Days 2012!

The Marquette Sheriff’s Department is going to be offering a Boater’s Safety Class from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Negaunee High School. The class is free and available for ages 6 and up. To register call the Ishpeming-Negaunee-NICE Community Schools at 475-4173.

Pioneer Days in Negaunee has started!

The Negaunee Library’s Annual Pioneer Day’s Book Sale will start at 9 a.m. and go until 3 p.m. At 2 p.m. book will be available for $1 a bag!

The Pioneer Princess Pageant will be at 7 p.m. at the Negaunee High School.

The Negaunee High School and Alumni Jazz Concert at will be held at 8 p.m. at the Negaunee City Band Shell.

A social night will start in Downtown Negaunee at 8 p.m.

Pioneer Day’s ends July 14th with a parade at 11:30 a.m, a community picnic at 1 p.m., and fireworks at dusk over Teal Lake.
