Excellent Judge for Youth for the Swine Show at the Marquette County Fair This Morning

Filed under: The Country Scoop |

The swine show was this morning down at the Marquette County Fair in Sands Township this morning.

Kids ages 9-19 got to show their 4-H pigs in showmanship and market hog while the judge watched them and critiqued their hog.

Every parent and relative of the the 4-H kids appreciated this judge! Judge Alan Snedegar, the Manager of the Swine Research and Teaching Center at Michigan State University, did more than judge the children, he taught them.

He passed on his words of wisdom to each one of them individually. It was a real educational opportunity for the young 4-H-ers!

There are still a ton of activities set for the Marquette County Fair so make sure you check it out before it ends on Sunday!

Go to www.marquettecountyfair.org for a complete list of events!

Listen to Sunny 101.9 WKQS at noon tomorrow for an interview!
