Vintage Plane at Sawyer International Airport for Rides Today

Filed under: The Country Scoop |

You can ride in a vintage 1929 Ford Tri-Motor Airliner restored by the EAA. This plane is making an eight stop tour this year and it is at the Sawyer International Airport today.

This plane was the world’s first mass-produced airliner built by the Ford Motor Company. This exact aircraft was also Eastern Airlines very first plane.

The “Tin Goose” played a huge role in making transportation in the United States and overseas possible. For $80 you can travel back in time to the “Golden Age.” Only $40 for you children ages 6 to 17, and 5 and under are free with a paying adult.

Rides are available today and tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Pre-booking is available at www.flytheford.org or by calling 877-952-5395.
