There are so many benefits going on right now that are being sponsored by country music artists, it just reassures me that this is my favorite genre!

With the digital media company, Eventful, Darius Rucker used Facebook, Twitter and other sources to ask fans to “demand” where he was to send $10,000 for the Marine Toys for Tots charity.

Keith Urban has raised over $75,000 since 2003 when he started his calendar sales. Fan photos are featured in the annual calendar and the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital benefits from the sales.

The Zac Brown Band and Kenny Chesney are taking part in WhyHunger’s Hungerathon, which is an online auction fighting hunger. ZBB has a eat-and-greet pass for any of their 2013 concerts and Kenny has a package including two concert tickets, a meet-and-greet, round-trip airfare for two and one night in a hotel during his No Shoes Nation tour.

How heart-warming especially around the Christmas time!
