Marquette –  April 28, 2011  – The Upper Peninsula is one of those few places on earth that has rich, dark, red water like in hundreds of these type pot holes. These red mud puddles are filled with minerals and tannins are scattered north on Hiway 510 from Negaunee Township north to Big Bay.  I wonder what Ole Henry Ford would say about the millions of  pot holes on his road.  I’ve been told Henry Ford loved 510and he wanted 510 as the main hiway from Marquette to Big Bay.
