Marquette, Michigan – A warm, humid evening at Marquette’s Lower Harbor Park during the Exchange Club’s International Food Festival didn’t stop eight eager contestants from taking the stage to sing their hearts out for a chance to win $1000.00 locally and up to $100,000 if they moved on to the national competition. Great Lakes Radio’s Texaco Country Showdown was sponsored by Michigan Sales John Deere and WFXD.
