Hunting Upper Michigan and Delivering The Venison

Iron Mountain - February 12, 2013 -  Hunting in Upper Michigan is coming back.  There are more Deer again. In November 2012, we saw a good amount of bucks.  There is a special season for the kids or the first time hunter to get out. Hunter Safety classes continue to happen all the time. Archery season runs about 13 weeks which provides for numerous opportunities to bag a buck and take a doe.

Usually, one scouts out an area, sets up a blind, and then relaxes and waits in the blind till you take the Deer. You tag it and load it in your pickup and then take the animal to a meat processor.  This ambitious Iron Mountain man had a different approach.
