8/17/2012 (Courtesy TheBoot.com) — Good Morning! Eric Church‘s chart-topping “Springsteen” has gotten the ultimate stamp of approval: Bruce Springsteen himself is a fan of the song. The iconic rocker’s management team told the country star their boss has heard the song and loved it.
“Hell, it made me feel incredible. I’m such a huge fan,” Eric tells ABC News Radio.
“Springsteen” was inspired by a date the singer-songwriter had many years ago. He took a girl to a concert — ironically not a Bruce Springsteen concert, though he won’t reveal who the performer was — and still thinks of his former crush when he hears that artist.
