Music circles run big deep and you never know who you will meet and even perform with. The other day I wrote about Toby Keith’s Oklahoma Twister Relief Concert, mentioning that the “Red Rocker”, Sammy Hagar would be one of the musicians performing. Ronnie Dunn is also one of To0by’s friends helping with the concert benefit.
Well, Sammy Hagar’s website recently released news about an upcoming album slated for Sept. 24…and Ronnie Dunn will be appearing on it. The album’s title, Sammy Hagar and Friends will include appearances from Kid Rock, Nancy Wilson (Heart), Ronnie Dunn (Brooks & Dunn), Neal Schon (Journey, HSAS), Chad Smith, (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chickenfoot), Michael Anthony (Chickenfoot, Van Halen), Joe Satriani (Chickenfoot), Bill Church & Denny Carmassi (Montrose).
According to theboot.com, Ronnie will be joining Sammy on an original tune, ‘Bad on Fords and Chevrolets.’ Sounds interesting! Hey boys, have fun jamming at Toby’s Relief Concert!!
