(Marquette Township, Michigan) – August 17, 2013 – Jeri Mattson, winner of the brand new $2000.00 John Deere Tractor, put his entry slip to win the tractor in at the SIR Federal Credit Union. Jeri Mattson, who lives on Allen street in Marquette Township, attended — along with of many hundreds of others — the Marquette Township Community Day at Lions Field this Saturday.
Jeri was watching the pre-championship game warmup when he thought he heard his name called. He came over and said he was “thrilled.”
Community Day was a smashing success. From featured championship ball games, to 50/50 raffles & ice cream from Jilbert Dairy, great hot dogs and brats cooked up by the Township Fire Fighters, at a great series of Texaco Country Showdowns by Great Lakes Radio, the event felt like a not-to-be-missed community get together for the Summer.
Michigan Sales and Great Lakes Radio also sponsored the John Deere Tractor Giveaway. Neighbors came together for great family fun to support of good community causes & organizations.
