Keith Urban to Return for Season 13 of ‘American Idol’

January 15th at 8PM ET.

Keith Urban is the only judge returning to the show after season 12. He will be joined by Jennifer Lopez — who was a judge on season 11 — and Harry Connick, Jr. This will be Connick’s first stint on the judging panel, but he appeared on the show last season as a mentor for runner-up Kree Harrison.

A sneak peak posted to YouTube in November shows the judges having a really good time together, talking to contestants and hearing them perform. Hopefully that chemistry will help reignite the show this season.
