Ishpeming, Michigan – February 17, 2014 – The moon was full on Friday, February 14, so it is still pretty big and bright in the sky.
Last night it lit up the night so much as it rose over the trees outside my house that it even distracted me from The Walking Dead. I had to pause the show (Hooray for DVRs!) and grab my camera.
I bravely ventured out in the single-digit cold to capture the moon. I had a hard time adjusting the settings on the camera at first and then had to stand in a snowbank to get what I thought was a good angle, but I’m happy with the end result.
