Tomorrow, August 15th, the Johnny Cash Museum will unveil a new display, “Legends of Sun Records, highlighting the Memphis studio that launched the careers of Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Carl Perkins, Elvis Presley and Jerry Lee Lewis.

The exhibit will also contain many music artifacts from that era including the drum set played by Cash’s long time musician of 40 years, W.S. “Fluke” Holland. Holland along with Marshall Grant and Luther Perkins made up Cash’s renowned “Tennessee Three”.

Holland’s four-piece drum set was played on a number of famous Sun Record recordings such as “Folsome Prison Blues, “i Walk The Line” and Elvis’, Blue Suede Shoes”.
