9/24/2014 Marquette, Michigan — Everyone has a reason to end Alzheimer’s… especially you and I! Get ready for the annual “Walk to End Alzheimer’s”, coming up this Saturday, September 27th at the YMCA of Marquette County. Did you know that every 67 seconds someone in the United States is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s? Those are some very startling facts about this terrible disease.

Since Monday, September 22nd Ruth Almen from the Alzheimer’s Association of Marquette County has joined both Lisa Ravioli and myself in the 4pm hour to chat about the Walk to End Alzheimer’s event, coming up this Saturday, September 27th at the YMCA of Marquette County. Ruth Almen has brought all of us some very interesting and startling statistics about Alzheimer’s disease. Make sure you tune in today and the rest of the week in the 4pm hour as Ruth Almen from the Alzheimer’s Association will be our special guest in the 4pm hour on 103-FXD!

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s Event is coming up this Saturday. The event will begin with registration at 9am; Ceremony at 10am, and the Walk at 10:15am. Ruth Almen said “The walk will begin at the YMCA of Marquette County and should end around 11:30am.” Ruth Almen went on to say “Bring your kids, and bring the dogs, we will have something for everyone this Saturday at the YMCA of Marquette County.” Donations will be accepted and greatly appreciated by the Alzheimer’s Association.
