Last night I went out to the movies with my wife to see “When the Game Stands Tall”. Based on the true story of De La Salle High School football coach Bob Ladouceur, who leads his team to a record setting 151game winning streak. This movie is much more then “The Streak”, which is what the home town fans love. It’s about the challenge you face when recovering from defeat that defines your character. Commitment and accountability to one another, dedication to a cause and love. “Don’t let a game define who you are, let how you live your life do that.”

A strong cast of actors contribute to projecting the characters in the story; Jim Caviezel (Outlander, Deja Vu, Angel Eyes) Laura Dern (Jurassic Park, October Sky) Michael Chiklis (Fantastic Four, Parker, The Shield), this film is inspiring and motivating to think that there are people in our society that are strong, positive role models for young people.
Here the trailer for Sony Pictures/Mandalay Productions film, “When the Game Stands Tall” – Go See It!…
