Grammy, AMA, CMA and ACM award winning country music artist Lee Ann Womack has enjoyed an amazing career since 1997. Now the singer, at this phase in her career, will be making her music from the heart.
Until recent, Womack has been under contractual commitments with MCA Nashville that have kept her from pursuing her more Americana genre, which has resulted in her latest recording, “The Way I’m Livin”. Lee Ann’s pursuit is recording the music she wants rather than worrying whether the next record will be a hit on the charts.
“I am a lover of real country music, what I think is hardcore country music. And I miss that.”
