It’s been almost two weeks since country artist just up and cut all his hair off for the first time in his music career. First he posted photos of a big pile of hair laying on the barber shop floor. Then he released a picture of his new high & tight haircut; WOW – what a drastic change in his appearance!
This week, Jake did his first media appearance on KMLE Country 107.9 in Phoenix where station personalities, Steve and Nina joked that they didn’t recognize Jake as he walked down the studio hallway.
Jake disclosed in the interview that his Mom was the driving force behind his decision to cut off his hair along with the occasional prod from his wife. Either way, when Owen made up his mind to cut is hair, he knew it wasn’t going to be a simple trim. It was either all of nothing.
He concludes by saying, “I still sound the same…”
