1/14/2015 Marquette, Michigan — Folks all across Marquette County are rejoicing to $1.99/gallon gas! In fact, I saw a fellow doing the gas dance the other day when filling up his pickup truck. Could you imagine, folks are saving 20, 30, 40, even 50 bucks when they fill up their gas tanks!?
I myself can fill up my Pontiac Grand Prix at around 20 bucks! This seems like a fantastic deal! This takes me back to my teenage years when I first started driving. I could go 2 weeks and fill up my tank in my old Cutlass Ciera for around 16 bucks in 2001… I just hope these prices last forever! However, I’m thinking come Summer we’ll end up right back to where we were last Summer.
So, here’s what I say: Enjoy these prices while they last. I’m going to try and take more Sunday drives throughout the winter when I can. Heck, taking a ride up to the Copper Country won’t be so expensive anymore. So, have you caught yourself doing the gas dance yet??
