I like the internet; you’ll never know what entertaining bits of nostalgia will pop up. I’ve been in one local TV commercial but the producer didn’t want me to sing in this particular ad.
However, country music artist Darius Rucker did sing in an early TV for Burger King, selling the Tender Crisp Bacon Cheddar Ranch Chicken sandwich. Written to the melody from the song, “Big Rock Candy Mountain”, fries that grow like weeds, streets paved with cheddar and… the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders shave you in your…DREAMS! WOW – what a sandwich!!!
