Susan Bertram from Hiawatha Music Co-Op talks about ‘Hiawatha on the Bayou’

Marquette-May 27th, 2015- On Tuesday morning Susan Bertram, Vice President of the Hiawatha Music Co-Op, joined Eric in the FXD studio to talk about their upcoming event, Hiawatha on the Bayou.

The fun, family-friendly event takes place this Saturday, May 30th, at the Bayou Restaurant and Chocolay River Brewery in Harvey from 2pm until midnight. The event is a collaboration between the Hiawatha Music Co-Op and the restaurant, and will feature live music, food, door prizes, and the chance to win Hiawatha Festival tickets!

The music will kick off with an open mic stage from 3:30-5:00pm, where local musicians can sign up to play in 15 minute blocks. After the open mic, the band Union Suits will take the stage from 5:30-7:30pm. The headline performers are the popular band Dragon Wagon, who takes the stage until close.

Tickets at the door are $12 for members, and $15 for non-members
