Marquette, Michigan – June 17th, 2015 – I’ve now had my smartphone for about 3 months. I’m still learning the ropes of what it can do…. and I believe the sky’s the limit when it comes to what it actually CAN do. I know, there’s probably an app for that too..
Speaking of apps…. I’m discovering that there’s (literally) an app for everything on the planet. From a blood pressure monitor app to FREE calling minutes + text I think I’ve found an app for just about everything. And it doesn’t stop there. There’s actually an app where you can LISTEN to Police Departments and Fire Departments all around America called the “Radio Scanner” app. It’s actually a scanner. I’ve been enjoying my time listening to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department (Detroit). Cook County (Chicago) is another Department I’ve been finding myself listening to often. There’s even a Speedometer app that uses the GPS on your phone just in case your speedometer malfunctions in your car.
Trouble is, I’m now glued to my phone. I used to criticize people that would do the same EXACT thing. Now I’m finding myself always on my phone. I’m becoming the exact thing I said I would never become: addicted to my phone. But I can’t help it… these apps are so freaking amazing!
