Marquette, Michigan – July 25th, 2015 – I was back to the microphone on Saturday night to get the classic country spinnin’ again all night long during American Country Gold on 1o3-FXD and WFXD.com! It was so nice to get back to my routine with Eric during my Saturday night show. I have missed the past 4 Saturday’s due to vacations and family functions, etc. It seems like I’ve been away from my show for far too long!
On Saturday night I sent out a special dedication for Patrick and Chrissy in Marquette who recently tied the knot! I sent out “Have I Told You Lately That I Love You” by Patti Page to Patrick and Chrissy, the newlyweds in Marquette! Congratulations Patrick and Chrissy! We wish you many happy years of marriage from all of us at 103-FXD!
I had pages upon pages of requests and dedications to catchup on during my show. I also received many emails from my loyal listeners that were concerned about me. I’m happy to report that I’m ALIVE AND WELL and glad to be back to bring you American Country Gold on 103-FXD.
I want to thank Bob, Julie, Duane, Kay, Al, Becky, and Jamie for listening to my show from Ishpeming around a campfire on Saturday night. I sent out “Ring of Fire” by Johnny Cash for the gang listening in Ishpeming to my show! I also heard from the Firepit Crew listening up in the Copper Country on Saturday night. The weather couldn’t have been better during my show! It was MILD–temperatures across the Upper Peninsula of Michigan were in the upper 70’s and lower 80’s.
The night couldn’t go by without hearing from Tom T. Hall “Sneaky Snake” which I played in the 10pm hour during American Country Gold on 103-FXD!
If you didn’t catch me on Saturday night, make sure you join me in a brand new month – August – for American Country Gold next Saturday, August 1st from 7pm to Midnight on 103-FXD! Give me a call during the week and leave a message at 361-WFXD, that’s 361-9393. Email elmer@wfxd.com.
Recognized by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters – American Country Gold with Elmer Aho on 103-FXD and WFXD.com!
