It was another wonderful day here on the Outdoor Show, and we got to hear some great bluegrass and country music! We heard from Alseep At The Wheel and George Strait with their tune “Big Balls in Cowtown” for our Outlaw Cut of the day, plus some awesome alternative country!
The sun was shining, but the weather cooled down, and that means that the bow hunting season opener is nearly here! I caught up with Shelly from Straight Line Archery in Ishpeming, MI on our first of today’s Outdoor Reports. We talked about how she has been getting people ready for the season opener on Thursday, and we also discussed how Straight Line Archery can get your bow in top shape with their state of the art tuning equipment!

For my second of today’s Outdoor Reports, I spoke with Terry Huffman of REMAX in Marquette. We discussed the fundraiser that he’s going to be part of on Friday. People can bid for their chance to take a balloon ride that leaves from downtown Marquette, and it’s all part of a good cause! He also shared with me his bird hunting reports from around Marquette County.

Steve was back for today’s Big Boy Sports Recap, and we had a great time talking about the past weekend’s football games and a bunch of other topics. We talked about last night’s Packers game that Steve attended, and we also discussed some college football as well!
