It was another wonderful day of country and bluegrass music today on the Outdoor Show, and I had a great time bringing it all to you on 103-FXD! We heard Steve Earle’s “Guitar Town” on our Outlaw Cut of the day, and we also got a chance to listen to some awesome alternative country as well!
My first guest on today’s Outdoor Reports was Greg from Paradise Recreation Sports out of Paradise, MI. We spoke a lot about fishing in Greg’s area, specifically for panfish, pike, muskie, and we even got into a little salmon fishing as well! I also got a chance to ask him about bird hunting in his area.

The one and only Walt Noa from Black Duck Hunting Preserve was my second guest for today’s Outdoor Reports. He and I discussed his recent hunting trips near Newberry, MI, and how the recent weather has been influencing grouse and woodcock in the U.P. He also warned us against some of the dangers to hunters’ dogs with trapping season in full effect.
For today’s Big Boy Sports, Steve and I first discussed what has been happening with the Red Wings and the rest of the NHL. We then talked about college football’s most notorious botched punt, and how the hero and ‘villain’ of the story are currently doing. Also, we talked about what has been going on in the NFL and a bunch of other sports topics!
