Marquette, Michigan – October 27th, 2015 – We all know the saying – “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” Well, I’ve been enjoying a fresh, scrumptious apple each afternoon during my “lunch” here at 103-FXD. When I was growing up I used to enjoy an apple almost everyday. In preschool my mom would always pack a lunch with an apple for me. So, I grew up on apples and am definitely no stranger to them and how tasty and tart they are!
I went grocery shopping about a week ago at Super One Foods in Marquette. There was an apple sale that caught my eye. I thought the price was pretty good so I loaded up on some apples at Super One Foods. They were probably the best, tastiest, most tart apples I’ve ever had… but not too tart! They were delicious and the only way they could’ve been fresher is if I had picked them myself. I don’t have any apple trees in my yard so that wouldn’t be humanly possible.
They were McIntosh Apples at Super One Foods. They were a mixture of both green and red in color. Not too tart… just right. These weren’t any type of apples.. these were the best apples I had bitten into! Now these apples have me hooked. They’re so yummy! I pack one every day and enjoy the Classic Country Spin at noon while On the Job with Dennis. What a lunch!
