Even though the weather was rainy today, I still had a great day bringing you all the best country and bluegrass music, only on 103-FXD! I got to play some new alternative country for you, and today’s Outlaw Cut we heard was from The Bellamy Brothers with their tune “Let Your Love Flow”.
My first guest for today’s Outdoor Reports was the one and only Steve Koski, from Indian Country Sports in L’Anse, MI. He had some excellent reports for us today on salmon fishing and the deer rut. The recent rain that we got is sure to help improve fishing conditions in the rivers, and Steve told us how fishermen in his area have been having success! He also gave us an great rut report from the deer hunters around L’Anse.

Mick from Mick’s Bait Shop out of Curtis, MI was my second guest on the Outdoor Reports. She had a lot of great information for us on deer hunting and the rut. She also told us about how the conditions for river fishing in her area have been lately and how the fishing has been for perch, walleye, pike, and muskie near Curtis, MI.

For today’s Big Boy Sports Recap, Steve Whelan and I discussed a bunch of different sports topics! We talked about the Detroit Red Wings and what they need to start winning and the rest of the NHL. Then we discussed how the Detroit Pistons have been doing at the start of the NBA season. Also, we chatted about the NFL and the Packers. Finally, we talked about the first World Series game and what the next game is looking like.
