Well, the early winter weather has finally hit Marquette, but I still had a ton of fun bringing you all the best country and bluegrass music today, only on 103-FXD! Our Outlaw Cut of the day we heard was from Merle Haggard with the song “Old Man from the Mountain”, and we had a great Bluegrass Cut in the 3 o’clock hour called “Tennessee” from Jimmy Martin and the Sunny Mountain Boys when they were live at the Bean Blossom Festival.
Today’s Outdoor Reports focused exclusively on deer hunting, and my first report of the day was with a new guest! Tom from the Rusty Rail and DNR Check Station in Cornell, MI gave us his reports for the deer that have been coming through his check station. He’s been seeing a lot of big bucks being registered, and he gave us his insights into why this year has been much better for deer hunting than last year.
For the second of the day’s Outdoor Reports, I caught up with Greg from Bait Plus, which is located in Gwinn, MI. He also has been seeing a lot of bucks being harvested around his area, and he also gave us a report of a huge 10-point buck that was taken this morning!

On today’s Big Boy Sports Recap, Steve and I first talked about what has been going wrong with the Packers in their past few games, and then we moved on to the rest of the NFL. We also talked about the Brewers and Tigers latest trade, and finally, we discussed the power ranking for college football.
