Christmas season is the time for giving your time and talents to help those less fortunate. You’re listened to me play and talk about country music during the work week, even share that my first band was a country band! Tomorrow, I’m coming out rocking with my band, BluesWolf!
This Saturday, the 12th Annual Hickey’s Salvation Army Benefit Nite. The Venice Pub & Pizzeria will be hosting the event this year with an assortment of local bands and musicians providing entertainment for the evening.
I have played this event in the past several times but I’m really looking forward to playing this year because I have landed myself a place with a new band…and these guys are great! Our four piece band, BluesWolf likes to dish out “Dangerous Blues and Rowdy Rock & Roll.” Tomorrow’s event will be our band’s second gig playing out as a band. BluesWolf is Jason Billings is vocalist, Dan Toyas our guitarist, Cory Blight on bass and your truly on drums. We have really worked to generate a great selection of songs and I’m really happy with the chemistry and musical ability we have as a band.
