Marquette, Michigan – February 4th, 2016 – What a storm! I know Gwinn is still digging out from the winter storm from Tuesday and into Wednesday. I think we saw close to a foot of snow in downtown New Swanzy, which is a suburb of Gwinn, Michigan. I hope you’re not snowed in! No matter what you’ll be doing on Saturday night make sure you’re tuning in to American Country Gold with me, Elmer Aho on 103-FXD and WFXD.com!
This time around the Copper Country didn’t see as much snow as the rest of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It’s about time they got a break. I know reports that were coming in from the South-Central Upper Peninsula suggested places like Iron Mountain and Escanaba also saw their fair share of snow.
The highways and byways are certainly very slick…even into today! Hopefully by Saturday night we’ll all be cleared out and ready for more snow next week! Yes, the forecast looks a bit interesting into next week. No matter what you’ll be doing or where you’ll be going make sure you’re listening to American Country Gold on Saturday night from 7pm to Midnight on 103-FXD and WFXD.com.
Remember, I will be back to the request line on Saturday night too! You’ll be able to reach me at 361-WFXD, that’s 361-9393. You can also email me on Saturday night at elmer@wfxd.com. See you Saturday night from 7pm to Midnight for American Country Gold on 103-FXD and WFXD.com!
