Gwinn Modeltowners Advance to Regionals After Taking Home Team District Trophy

Gwinn Modeltowners High School Wrestling MHSAA Wrestling Team District 4 Champs — The Gwinn Modeltowners, 2016 MHSAA Wrestling Team District 4 Champs, advance to the Regionals!

Gwinn, MI – February 12, 2016 – The Gwinn High School wrestling team defeated the Bark River-Harris Broncos 30-21 in the MHSAA Division 4 Wrestling Team District Championship last night in Gwinn.

The Modeltowners advance to the regional level of competition and will travel to Munising on February 17th where they face the Munising Mustangs in the semifinals, with the winner of that match advancing to the regional finals immediately following the semifinals.

The Modeltowners also travel to Munising tomorrow, Saturday, February 13th, for the Division 4 Individual Districts. If you have the opportunity, get out and back your favorite team! GO, MODELTOWNERS!
