Ishpeming, Michigan – March 7th, 2016 – I’m a single guy living in my own home. While I’m not always proud of the fact that I’m single I was proud to be single this past weekend. You see, most of the guys I work with are married OR are in a relationship. I’m the minority here at the station. This past weekend I was free to be me! Elmer Aho took Saturday night off so I had plenty to do around the home with NO honey to-do list.
It started by cleaning up my basement on Saturday. I’ve got the first floor and the seconds floors all cleaned up. I worked my way to the basement. It’s not something I’ve been looking forward to doing, however, it needed to be done. This past weekend the weather was beautiful so it gave me a chance to get stuff done. From throwing out items left from the previous owner to cleaning up the cobwebs and the dust–I was proud to say it was nice and clean by Sunday!
On Sunday I worked my way outside before I headed off to Marquette for a family dinner with the family at Hudson’s Classic Grill. I cleared up the leftover ice and snow from the storm last Sunday. The snow accumulated pretty heavily in my driveway. I got plenty of exercise in with NO honey to-do list! Success! I was able to FOCUS for the start of spring and get things done.
Now I’m off to find my soulmate….
