Marquette, MI – May 13, 2016 – We had a voice from the past join us on today’s show. Expert walleye fisherman, Dan Lloyd from Chassell joined us to talk tips and tactics for the walleye opener this Sunday. We talked water temps, lures, baits, colors and presentation for both clear lakes in the Copper Country and in the waters of Portage Lake and the Sturgeon River.

We also spoke with Tom Polkey, VP of the Bay De Noc Sport Fishermen’s Club about the opener on both Big Bay De Noc and Little Bay De Noc. Tom grew up on both bays and he was kind enough to share how he would go about chasing walleye with predicted conditions. He also filled us in on the NTC Tournament that starts late next week out of Escanaba.
