Marquette, Michigan – May 21st, 2016 – It’s graduation season! It’s also wedding season! I played plenty of dedications for those special Graduates all across the Upper Peninsula of Michigan on Saturday night during American Country Gold on 103-FXD and WFXD.com. It’s that time of year… the birds are chirping, there’s plenty of sunshine from Palmer to Gwinn, and folks are getting their travel trailers out and heading down to the southern U.P.
I already heard from several campgrounds on Saturday night, and for good reason. The weather was absolutely beautiful on Saturday! Highs from one end of the Upper Peninsula to the other ranged from the upper 60’s all the way to the lower 70’s. I didn’t hear one complaint about the weather during American Country Gold on Saturday night!
I sent out a special dedication to the River Rats that were listening to American Country Gold on 103-FXD down by the Escanaba river in Escanaba. I haven’t heard from the River Rats in a couple of years… they decided to venture out since the weather was beautiful on Saturday night!
Make sure you join me next Saturday, May 28th as we kick off Memorial Day Weekend and the start of summer on American Country Gold! Reach me during the week at 361-WFXD, that’s 361-9393. Friend me on Facebook here.
Recognized by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters – American Country Gold with Elmer Aho on 103-FXD and WFXD.com!
