
Negaunee, MI – November 28, 2016 – Honor Credit Union announced the winners of the 7th Annual Teacher Awards, with 10 of the this year’s 30 recipients right here in the Upper Peninsula!
Each winner received $100 to put to use in their classroom or school. Entrants submitted a short description of of how they would use the money to better educate their students.
The Gwinn area had four winners and 15 submissions, which were the most entries out of Honor’s 17 branch areas. Marquette had three winners out of 12 submissions and Honor awarded 3 winners out of 11 entries in the Negaunee area.

The winners are:

- Jill Sladek (Negaunee Public Schools)
- Brittnee Balbierz (Negaunee Public Schools)
