Marquette, MI – July 21, 2017 – Everyone has a favorite season, especially in the Upper Peninsula. In a place where you get to experience all four seasons, it’s almost mandatory to choose a favorite. Mine is summer, followed extremely closely by Fall (because football season). No other season allows you to leave work and decided you want to get 18 in on a beautiful 80 degree day.
That’s what happened yesterday. My work day was winding down, it was beautiful outside, and I had the itch to go golfing. I texted my pal Jimmy to see if he wanted to play (he always wants to play). We took a ride out to Marquette Golf Club to play the Heritage Course.
The evening could not have been better. Sun shining, barely any win, a couple of beers, and some great golf. To me that’s perfection, if there is such a thing.
