Marquette, Michigan – April 20th, 2018 – My 7-year-old nephew Landyn! A couple weeks ago my nephew joined me on-air during the U.P. Boat, Sport, and RV Show at the Superior Dome in Marquette. Landyn and his parents dropped by the Great Lakes Radio booth for a visit with Uncle Eric. My sister and her husband wanted to take a gander around the Superior Dome so they decided to leave Landyn in the custody of Uncle Eric.
Since Landyn was sitting right next to me at the Great Lakes Radio booth, I decided to let him speak into the microphone with me. WOW, I was amazed by how professional he was! We did a total of 8 breaks live together on 103-FXD. For being 7 years old he sure wasn’t shy to speak to thousands of listeners!
I was so proud of my cute nephew. He’s got some courage in him! Holy cow! I was thinking during our live breaks that maybe, just maybe I’ve molded a future broadcaster in the family. Don’t believe me? Take a listen here yourself.
