Marquette, MI – March 25, 2019 – There are few things like that time of year after being couped up during a long, snowy winter where you get that first chance to spend some time in the sun.
That moment happened for me on Saturday. It was about 50 degrees, the sun was shining in the back yard, so I decided to take advantage.
I was watching the NCAA tournament at the time inside, and decided to move it outside. I set up a TV tray to hold my laptop to watch the Kentucky/Wofford game, poured a Bourbon on the rocks, and lit the first cigar of the year and spent some quality time in the sun with my girlfriend.
It’s the little things in life, and moments like Saturday make suffering through the winters worth it.
