Marquette, MI – October 21, 2019 – It was a rainy Monday afternoon for most of the U.P., but Adam Carpenter did his best to make it a little more bearable with a great edition of The Outdoor Show. With two great guests on the show’s outdoor reports, this one was a great distraction from the dreary weather outside.
Adam first spoke with Jamie from Gwinn Bait and Tackle. Jamie said that bear checks are going well, as are the buck reports he’s gotten from bow hunters so far. He also mentioned that grouse and woodcock are looking good, and walleye fishing is starting to pick up.

Pete Sorelle was Adam’s second guest, and he was in agreement with Jamie on almost everything. Pete echoed Jamie’s assessment of the buck situation, bear checks, and grouse and woodcock, plus he gave a report on salmon and brown trout fishing.
Steve was still enjoying his vacation, so Luke Ghiardi filled in for him on the Big Boy Sports Recap on Monday afternoon. Adam and Luke discussed the weekend’s happenings, both in the collegiate and professional ranks, and looked ahead to what will be a big week in sports.
