Fun Times at Ford Field

Ford Field was looking great on Sunday

Marquette, MINovember 20, 2019 – Being a Dallas Cowboys fan living in Michigan, I don’t get many opportunities to see my favorite team play in person. In fact, prior to this weekend, I had only seen the Cowboys play twice in person – both times at Lambeau Field.

The first was in 2004 when the Vinny Testaverde quarterbacked Cowboys got boatraced by Favre and the Pack. The 2nd was was 3 years ago during Dak and Zeke’s rookie year and I was able to see a Cowboys win.

So back in April after the NFL schedule had come out, a Lions season ticket holder buddy of mine reached out. Knowing I am a Cowboys fan he asked if I wanted to buy his tickets from him since he was not able to go to that game. I bought them that same day, and I am glad I did.

Me and my girlfriend Vanessa enjoying the win postgame

Detroit was buzzing on that beautiful Sunday morning. I went with my girlfriend, sister, and sister’s boyfriend – and we had a blast. We started by checking out Kid Rock’s bar in Little Caesar’s Arena before heading to Hockeytown pregame. We then finally moseyed our way to Ford Field which to my surprise, was filled with about half Cowboys fans.

The game was great and entertaining down to the very last possession. I even got to see one of my best friends who lives in Knoxville who happened to be at the game and I didn’t know until he realized I was at the game too. And of course, I got to see a Cowboys win.

Fun times at Ford Field.
